Terms of sale
These general conditions of sale, govern the terms and conditions of sale of the products marketed by DOLCE DESIGN srls. All contracts for the sale of Products by DOLCE DESIGN srls to third parties "Customers" are governed by these General Conditions, which form an integral and substantial part of every proposal, order and order confirmation for the purchase of the Products themselves. The conditions of sale applicable to your order are those in effect on the date of your order.
1. PRODUCTS: PRICES AND FEATURES
1.1 Unless otherwise indicated, the prices of the Products published by DOLCE DESIGN srls shall be deemed to include VAT. The prices of the Products published from time to time by DOLCE DESIGN srls cancel and replace the previous ones and are subject to the actual availability of the Products. DOLCE DESIGN srls reserves the right to confirm or change the prices of the Products published on its website or in information brochures and advertising material, at the time of confirmation of the Customer's order.
1.2 Except where otherwise indicated. Product images are indicative and not binding.
1.3 The Customer is responsible for the selection of the Products ordered and for ensuring that the specifications given by each manufacturer meet and conform to its requirements.
2. ORDERS - BILLING
2.1 All purchase orders for Products transmitted to DOLCE DESIGN srls must be complete in all their parts and must contain all the elements necessary for the correct identification of the Products ordered. Each order of Products transmitted to DOLCE DESIGN srls constitutes a contractual proposal of the Customer and, therefore, will be binding for DOLCE DESIGN srls only if confirmed by the same for acceptance. The execution of the order by DOLCE DESIGN srls, is equivalent to confirmation and acceptance of the same.
2.2 DOLCE DESIGN srls reserves the right not to accept incomplete orders, not duly completed. In the event of non-execution of the order by DOLCE DESIGN srls (if the same is due to unavailability of the Products ordered by the Customer) DOLCE DESIGN srls will as soon as possible to inform the Customer, refunding any sums already paid by the latter in respect of the supply not executed. In this case, the Customer will not be entitled to any refund or compensation of any kind, moreover, all prices and online purchases viewable on www.gufodesign.com will be valid only for that type of purchase and not for retail or from catalogs.
2.3 Fiscal documentation (receipt) or (invoice) relating to the Products ordered will be issued by DOLCE DESIGN srls when the Products are shipped to the Customer.
3. DELIVERY OF PRODUCTS
3.1 All delivery charges will be borne by the Customer (except for promotions).
Deliveries are normally made by DHL express courier.
Online purchases have ONLY prepayment formula

Any delays in delivery of less than 10 (ten) working days shall not entitle the Customer to refuse delivery of the Products, nor to claim compensation or indemnity of any kind.
Import taxes and customs duties
Products sold are not subject to any import tax or customs duty if the product is sold and delivered in Italy or within the European Union.
In the case of deliveries to countries outside the European Union, products may be subject to import taxes and/or customs duties depending on the type of product and the country of destination. It is not possible to predict in any way whether and what costs would be incurred for customs clearance of the goods.

In all cases, any costs related to import taxes and/or customs duties will be borne by the customer.
3.4 DOMESTIC SHIPMENTS ( PROVIDED FOR IN ARTICLE 3.2 ABOVE )
The purchased goods will have a fixed packing and shipping cost of €8.54. The delivery time once the package is shipped is 1-2 business days , depending on the location. The number to track the shipment will be emailed to you when the product is shipped. Please check your shipment via GLS courier by entering the tracking number we have provided under ("CUSTOMER COLUMN ID"). At certain times GUFO will offer free shipping service.
3.5 SHIPMENTS WITHIN THE EU AND INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS ( PROVIDED FOR IN ARTICLE 3.2 ABOVE )
Your purchase will have a packaging and shipping cost of 14.80€. Delivery time once the package is shipped is 4-6 business days, depending on location. The number to track the shipment will be emailed when the product is shipped.
3.6 DOLCE DESIGN srls has the right to make the delivery of the Products (even relating to the same order) in several successive deliveries without prejudice, in this case, a single charge to the Customer by way of transport costs.
3.7 Special terms and conditions of delivery shall be agreed in advance with the Customer and accepted in writing by DOLCE DESIGN srls.
4. SPECIAL OFFERS
4.1 Any special offers promoted by www.gufodesign.com are valid while stocks last and in any case, are subject to the actual availability of the relevant Products. The proposed special offers cannot be combined. Products on special offer may be in promotional packaging (packaging means boxes, manuals, etc.).
5. PRODUCT WARRANTIES - TECHNICAL SUPPORT
WARRANTY Your GUFO® products are warranted for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase, in accordance with the conditions set forth in this warranty. The GUFO® international warranty covers any defects in the material from which the product was made as well as manufacturing defects existing at the time it was sold. The warranty is effective only if you are in possession of a valid receipt of purchase. During the warranty period and upon presentation of proof of purchase, you will have the right to have your product repaired free of charge. If repairs are inadequate to restore the normal condition of use of Your GUFO® eyewear, or the product is no longer available, we guarantee its replacement with a GUFO® product of the same or similar model/color.
5.1 The warranty specifically for eyeglasses includes the frame and the frame. The warranty does not cover:
- The breaking or scratching of lenses
- Wear and deterioration (e.g., scratched wood, alteration of color and/or material of the frame)
- Any damage to any part of the eyeglass resulting from misuse/anomalous use, lack of care, negligence, accidents (dents, bumps, broken glass, etc...), damage resulting from exposure to water or fire, damage caused by unauthorized repairs, or the alterations of the eyeglass from its original condition without the supervision of OWL®.
5.2 Warranty specifically for watches covers movement, hands and dial. Warranty does not cover:
- The breaking or scratching of the dial lenses, glass, strap;
- Wear and deterioration (e.g., scratched wood, alteration of color and/or material)
- Any damage to any part of the watch resulting from misuse/anomalous use, lack of care, neglect, accidents (dents, bumps, broken glass, etc...), damage resulting from exposure to water or fire (unless "water resistant" is indicated on the back), damage caused by unauthorized repairs, or the alterations of the watch from its original condition without the supervision of GUFO®.
5.4 IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH YOUR PRODUCT GUFO DO NOT RETURN TO THE STORE! Instead, refer to our comprehensive warranty. 5.4 GOODS RETURN: The Customer will be contacted by GUFO srls as soon as the material is viewed.
Shipping costs to ship the product to the service center will be the responsibility of the sender. The product will be replaced or relocated and returned to the sender at the expense of GUFO.
5.5 INTERNATIONAL GOODS RETURN: In the case of returning goods from countries outside Italy, any customs charges will be borne exclusively by the customer.
6. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
6.1 Pursuant to art. 5 of Legislative Decree 22 May 1999 n. 185, the Customer (if it qualifies as a "consumer" under art.1 lett. b) of Legislative Decree 22 May 1999 n. 185) has the right to terminate the contract and return the Products ordered, without penalty and without specifying the reason, within the term of 14 (fourteen) working days from receipt of the Products.
6.2 The right of withdrawal referred to in the previous article 6.1 must be exercised by the Client, under penalty of forfeiture, by sending a registered letter with return receipt to DOLCE DESIGN srls, Via Transito 41 - 95121 - Catania (CT) Italy, within the term of 10 (ten) working days from receipt of the Products. The above communication can also be sent, within the same term, by email support@gufodesign.com.
6.3 All returns (which must be perfectly intact and accompanied by the original packaging) must be authorized by DOLCE DESIGN srls Customer Service who will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Once the RMA number has been received, the Customer may return the Product to the following address:

COD packages will not be accepted.
6.4 Once the Products have been received (and verified their integrity) DOLCE DESIGN srls, will, as soon as possible, credit the Customer the cost of the returned Products (as indicated on the invoice), withholding, the amount of shipping costs that will remain definitively borne by the Customer. It is accepted without hesitation the return of any item, as long as it is in PERFECT CONDITION and SEALED, FREE OF ANY KIND OF WEAR, NEITHER ROVINATED, NEITHER scratched.
6.5 The right of withdrawal referred to in Article 6.1 above cannot be exercised by the Customer if the products have been opened by the Customer.
6.5 The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised in the case of customized products, thus for which engraving or fitting of a lens or other modifications expressly requested by the customer has been requested.
6.6 To exercise withdrawal, it is necessary to follow the directions in 5.3, 5.4.
7. JURISDICTION
Without prejudice to the possible applicability of mandatory provisions of law placed for the protection of consumers (as defined pursuant to art.1 lett. b) of Legislative Decree 22 May 1999 n. 185), any dispute however related to these General Conditions, will be devolved to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Catania. Pursuant to and for the purposes of Articles 1341 and 1342 of the Civil Code, the Customer declares to have carefully read and understood and specifically accept the following clauses of the General Conditions of Sale The Merchant: 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2, 3.2, 4.1, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4, 6.5 and 7.
